History and Experience:
Welcome to ‘The Juniper”…….Beaver Island’s first large scale response to our long term workforce housing challenges.
Partially funded by Michigan’s MSHDA MI Neighborhoods program and supported by St. James Township, the project strives to provide an affordable high quality housing option to solidify a measurable permanent year-round population increase for the island while prioritizing housing for full-time members of the workforce.
In February of 2024, the Ebersoldt family, island homeownesr since 2011, with their multi-family real estate development, architectural, and construction experience made the decision to pursue a first attempt at addressing the long term housing availability and affordability issues facing Beaver Island. Ebersoldt + Associates Architecture (E+A) is recognized as a leader in multi-family, affordable, historic adaptive reuse, senior, student, hotel, supportive, skilled nursing and assisted living, mixed-use and in-fill residential architecture.
